About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be the best version of myself and help others to do the same.

ABOUT ME

*** I recently took a break from college at the University of Pennsylvania to live in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam for 6 months to "soul-search." In college, I study Political Science, but now I have no interest in that so that was why I took a break to figure out what I want to do.
Right now, I'm the happiest I've ever been. Because the cost of living is so low here, I can afford to do more things. Not wanting to brag here, but I do think my life right now is interesting LOL :P

I love languages, fat cats and always would like to work on self-improvement. I would love to meet interesting people.

I particularly like the Hong Kong culture, Cantonese and the history between Chinese- Vietnamese

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I created my profile years ago, but it wasn't until the summer of 2014 that I started using it when a friend suggested.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books:
Steve Jobs' biography
The Power of Now
I will teach you how to be rich - Seriously, if you're an American, check that out.
The Alchemist
Plateau
Mastery (NOT by Robert Greene)
The Startup Nation (currently reading)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Don't know if these count but: So I've traveled to South Korea, the Netherlands, Hungary, Austria, China (and will be going there again in the fall), Mexico, South China (Hainan, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Yunnan), Hangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Dubai.

Updated: My host in Hong Kong looks like a famous HK drama actor. He also knows a lot about HK culture, which up to that point I was the only one I know who does.

One more interesting thing about me: So my original name wasn't Bryan. Bryan's actually a name of a singer in the Irish band West Life that I was super crazy about when I was like 13. Anyways, I've been using the name and actually like it, so I changed it officially to Bryan as of February this year.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can converse in Spanish, English, Vietnamese, Mandarin and a little Cantonese.
I would love to learn Cantonese, Mandarin and Korean and more Spanish.
And of course, any interesting things you'd like to show!
