ABOUT ME

i should write sth about myself here?...hm, a bit difficult to describe myself as everyone has a different perception of it of course...what appears wonderful or inspiring to 1 person can drive another 1 completely mad..also my behaviour depends a lot on the persons who are around me...i appreciate guests who bring their own music as i am always curious for some new stuff and inspirations

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I enjoy traveling and meeting up with other surfers. I like to meet new people! In my travels I have surfed through Europe, parts of the Middle East and the US. It is great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had many guests over the last years, and was hosted by nice people. Most of the experiences were good, some were weird, but none were bad. I've met interesting people, and learned about their lives, experiences, and cities. I also made friends for life.

Interests

music, nature, socializing, people & their stories, istanbul, alternative medicine, holistic healing, modern physics, science, thinking, dreaming, travelling, philosophy, turkish language, just having fun with my friends & trash-talk a bit ; ), i am interested in a lot of spiritual stuff, life in general & love to exchange ideas about this as long as u don't ask me to follow any guru or join any esoteric group who knows the truth etc. that's not my kind of stuff. i'd like to stay an independent human beeing. i am not so much into sports so if u plan to do some action climbing or extrem whatever blah blah i am probably not your most exciting host & will bore u to death :D

My favorite movie is probably 'Buffalo 66'. I also liked Suzhou River, Ghost World, La Haine, Elegy, The House of the Spirits, Kanak Attack, Festen, The Ballad of Jack and Rose, Night on Earth, C'est La Vie, Starwars, all Planet Earth volumes, Crossing the Bridge, Hedwig & The Angry Inch...

My favorite novel at the moment is 'What I Loved' by Siri Hustvedt -who is also my favorite author (beside E.L. Doctorow)

Favorite band... good question... Bane has been on a lot these days, but I like to listen to many different kinds of music...

well i can teach playing recorder (which is not really something anybody wants to do,but nevermind) and flute and who knows,maybe i`m able to find someone who teaches me how to play backpipe (i know its taking ages to learn it,but i really really really want to)
