ABOUT ME

A couple of years ago I made the decision of leaving my profession for good, because it sucks, and to enjoy life without being worried about time, money, social status and all that crap that make people feel so miserable. Then I travelled around the world for some time, having amazing experiences (like finding the love of my life, no less) Now we are here with my wife Samy, but probably not for long. I wish you peace of mind, nice trips and a happy life.

Music, Movies, and Books

So many, impossible to list. Ok, let´s try:
Argentinean Music: Folklore and some rock bands, some tango (not a big fan, but Piazzolla was a genius, also some classics singers, like Julio Sosa and Goyeneche). Brazilian funk, rock, northern rhythms, mangue beat, etc: Fernanda Abreu, Leline, Funk Como le Gusta, Cassia Eller, Ed Motta, Otto, Chico Science etc, etc. The classics: Caetano, Gilberto Gil, Jorge Ben, etc. Still consider Ellis & Tom the best album of all times (pure perfection). International: sooooooooooooooo many music, from classic Beatles, LZ and some progressive bands, to 80´pop soul/fusion musicians and 90 punk rock. New century electronica scene also has it things. Good music transcends barriers and personal prejudices.
Movies: Classics from Citizen Kane to The Godfather, most of Kubrick´s work(Strangelove is a high point), Italian Neo Realism, classic Hollywood 50´ epics. Crappy science fiction movies and horror films form the 50´to the 70´. Classic and silly high school american movies from the 80´ (still a big laugh). Some (only a few, because I consider most of them are only for export) of the new films from Latin America. Alex de la Iglesia, Hermanos Fesser (El Milagro de Ptinto!!!!), etc. etc. And, of course ALL Olmedo and Porcel movies...
Books: Classics Latin American authors, Cortázar, Borges, García Márquez, Jorge Amado. However, history books are my favorites (specially 20th century world history). Love to read about music, cinema and travels.
