Just like the way we met on the 14/02/2011, our lives are full of surprises and adventures. In the very beginning of our relationship we both shared a dream to travel the world. It took as only a second to look at each other and confirm Let's do it! We embarked on a trip around the world to enrich memories, discover motive and live life. Now after 30 months of travelling and 40 countries visited we have returned to this beautiful country to build new memories and share our experience with other travellers. Turning Pages is the story of a decision to change, act and fulfil.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just like Saint Augustine said ''The World is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page'' we decided to turn those pages and get to know the world not only from guidebooks but from the real experiences.

Interests

We both love traveling, meeting new people and sharing our experiences with others. We enjoy slow motorcycle scenic rides, eating from off-track genuine places and honest conversations with authentic people.
Miguel is huge football fan..especially when AS Roma is playing.
Inese is very passionate about art, interior design and animals..she gets even more happy if she can feed them!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing we have done was to actually do something that many dream of, but do not make the sacrifice to realize it. We resigned from our jobs, packed our bags, said goodbye to material possessions, friends , family and set out on the road for an indefinite time.
Amazing things we are living day by day now and more to come...

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be really fun to learn how to play a musical instrument, make up some song and play it while sharing the moment with new friends and travelers...
We also love to share our travel storries while enjoying a good glass of wine.
If you want to practice your English, Latvian, Italian, Maltese or Russian we will be more than happy to help ;) Meanwhile we are learning Spanish ourselves so would be nice to practice that a bit too.
Inese can definitely share some of her art and design tips.
And if you have no clue what's going on in football life, don't worry, after meeting Miguel you will be pro! When it comes to skiing, there's plenty of improvement for him there though.
