When I was in New York for the first time in the summer of 2010, I walked across the Brooklyn Bridge into Chinatown and Manhattan and the beauty of the city mixed with its raw intensity, literally left my breathless mouth ajar for several seconds. Downtown LA doesn't compare to the density of the urban sprawl that is NYC.
