I am a travel freak. I love to travel and make new friends. I want to travel all over the world, see new places and make friends on the way. Know me better when you meet me.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosophy in life is "live and let live". I am a very ambitious person and whatever I do I try to perform at the fullest of my capabilities. Love to do crazy things, but have never been in trouble for it!!! ( I always find ways to get out of it ). I love my family and friends with all my heart and they are my strength for all that I do. I am not that ardent worshiper of God, but believe in a central power that controls our universe. I respect all religions, and caste, creed and race doesn't matter to me.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm looking to meet new people and make good friends. I have lived a rugged life for quite some time and don't have any hassles to stay anywhere, as far as I have a roof over my head.

I am also open to hosting people all over the globe, giving that they are more or less neat, hygienic, sociable and fun. I have a big couch in the same room that I can offer you to sleep but no pillows or blanket. So anybody wanting to stay at Turya's, please bring the necessary stuff. My room is quite big and clean and there should not be any problem for a normal human being to spend some time in it, and fun people would love my company too. In India, guests are considered as Godlike (we call it, Atithi Devobhava) and though I am not that old fashioned, I love to cook for my guests and maybe show them around the city, the tourist hotspots as well as places such as good nightclubs as well as flea markets, where you can pick up nice, cheap stuff. If you are willing to stay at my humble abode, please let me know in advance (atleast a week before) so that I can get back to you, and make some free time for you as well :)

I am presently doing my masters course in Construction and Real Estate Management in Berlin.I spend my time studying my course, traveling and playing sports. I love to visit new places and make new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books

I watch all movies, and am not restricted to Hollywood and Bollywood ( the Indian film industry), though I prefer subtitles for the ones I don't understand the language of. I am not really a bookworm, but have read quite a few. I like to listen to live music of any kind but hate listening to trance and house-mixes, unless m very drunk :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was working in Bahrain, I went to a Beach called Al-Jayazir. This beach had very shallow waters and 3 of my friends and me crossed the sea in our swimming trunks at -5 degrees centigrade. What more, it was the border between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and there were armed guards patrolling the other side. We would have been shot if caught trespassing. This was one of the many stupid and crazy things I have done. The experience gave me a feeling that I only know of and wanted to share with you. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Knowledgeable people who are from any sphere of life and are open to share their personal experiences, works or travels, but are not boring. I really don't get along with people who are too serious (not fun). I like to learn new cultures and am very fond of good musicians, dancers, etc.
