ABOUT ME

I love to bodyboard, riverboard, longboard, snowboard and mountain bike in my free time. That and sleep and watch movies and eat chocolate, yes I am human after all. Mostly I travel for my sports. I enjoy the company of laid back people who have a positive outlook. I'm into healthy diet and fitness, pushing myself to be stronger mentally and physically. Very competitive at sports.

PHILOSOPHY

Why do I live my life? Because the alternative is messy?? Um... I live for the adrenaline rush. I tend to push the edge a bit in most aspects, although I do like to arrive at the airport with plenty of time to get through security. I would love for everyone to find the peace that comes from knowing Jesus but I know that people are on their own journeys and God is in control of that. I am certainly not a 'model Christian' and there's really no way you could associate me with the media's portrayal of today's churched. I just do my best and leave the rest up to God. I don't believe everything I hear in the news and figure there is more than one side to every situation. I love to hear people's stories of triumph through struggles and risk taking.

I have couch surfed a little.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I stayed with a lovely gal in Missoula, but had to cut my trip short because my cold got worse. She was sick too! I've had a number of travelers stay here. I tend to favor people traveling here from other countries, or women traveling on their own. It freaks out my cat, so I don't have guests too frequently.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I got second place in my first riverboarding Boardercross at the Gorge Games. I beat people less than half my age :) I also won the surf wave competition in Indonesia in nov. 2013.

i'd like to learn some good stretches for my back, neck, shoulders. I'm pretty good at working out knots in people's neck/shoulders.

Cosa posso offrire ai padroni di casa

I have an inflatable mattress that would sleep two people tightly. The living room has a good amount of floor space.
