take the Vedas, Koran, Bible or the writings of Lao Tzu (and undoubtedly a lot of others)- take away everything edited by clerics and similar human beings, add a big portion of stubbornness and liberal-western-education-individuality and you got it.

Musica, film e libri

Garfield! Fantasy!
there's just too many books! A special one's maybe: Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. I do enjoy the 'Vampire Chronicles' of Anne Rice alot, as well as Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels.
Musicwise it starts with Heavy Metal and stops with Rumanian folk music. In between I'm listening to Goa-Trance, Latin music, all kinds of French interpreters, Reggae, so called World Music (folk music of different cultures, specially Gypsie, Indian and African music)and Classic. (favs are Mozart, Beethoven and Tchaikowsky). And, though it's only partly music, master Facundo Cabral.
Movies? If I find time for them, let it be 'The Big Lebowskie', all and everything by Quentin Tarrantino, 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas' and 'Don Juan de Marco'.

Depending on how one sees things, all aspects of life are amazing...
Paragliding - flying! - to me is the very most amazing and beautiful thing one can experience... and travelling with a paraglider and meeting local pilots is just great!
Something that I'm definitely thinking back on is my camel that I bought in India and travelled on for about 5 weeks... I've always wanted to travel around by and with an animal.

A lot of interest in and curiosity for him/her and his/her culture, some Austrian-Asian fusion style cooking skills for a nice meal together and definitely a great story or two to make him/ her laugh!
