Currently traveling the US in my car. Headed up the west coast with plans to end up in OR.

PHILOSOPHY

i generally live my life like a feather in the wind. just let the wind take me as it will. When opportunity comes knocking on your door, you must open that door. often people are afraid that if they take one opportunity they will miss out on others. well. . of course this is true, but if you wait for an experience then you are missing out much more. seize life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have mostly surfed during my travels abroad, however occasionally someone manages to catch me on my weekend off and i end up hosting. i also participate in the occasional CS event.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am still fairly new to CS. I have travelled around europe with CS and found SO many wonderful people. it is good to find that there are still some good hospitable people in the world. everything from my first experience surfing to my last experience hosting - i have loved every minute of it :)

Interests

Piano, Guitar, Music in General. i love to write music and also literature, although music generally takes up most of my time. i love to draw and paint as well. basically anything that involves right brain i am in love with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a classical pianist and guitarist - so of course, beethoven, chopin, rachmanninov, prokofiev. you know, all the old time greats. as well i like some modern music such as bright eyes, monsters of folk, led zeppelin, most classic rock and roll.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently sold everything I own, packed up my car, and left my home town of St. Louis. Now traveling the west coast.

Teach, Learn, Share

I tend to be a wealth of completely useless knowledge as well as some practical/not-so-practical skills. .

i've been DYING to learn to play cello, viola, or violin.
of course i would love to learn a Slavic language like russian or czcech

I feel that this is probably the most important part of the CS community. through our personal contributions we are (hopefully) helping the world become a more globalized, educated, and open-minded place.

knowledge is free.. . it should remain this way always.
