My husband Charles and I are Peace Corps Volunteers living and working in Kitgum, Uganda. We are volunteers in the education sector and our work focuses on literacy specifically.

We have had several couch surfing experiences in the past and would love to host travelers to Uganda!

In 2011-2012 we did a nine month backpacking trip around the world, beginning in Italy and ending in South Korea. We traveled Mexico for our honeymoon in 2013 and we have now traveled throughout much of Uganda.

Traveling the fjords of Norway and New Zealand! Camping in Bedouin tents in Wadi Rum desert in Jordan. Experiencing 3 of the 7 wonders of the world: the Colosseum, Petra, and the Taj Mahal. Hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, Turkey at sunrise. Western Wall and Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem. Skydiving over Lake Wanaka in New Zealand. Bungee jumping 134 meters.
