About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live and learn, fail and triumph; to be people of the world.
ABOUT ME
Marea and Kristy are world travelers in the making. We've been many places but it's still only a fraction of what we have yet to explore. Most of our travel experiences have been separate but we are excited to embark on our next travel adventures together.
Kristy spent most of 2010-11 traveling on a joint adventure with her best friend, Gabe. The pair were unable to split the joint profile and thus Kristy and Marea opted to create a new profile. Do not be fooled by the infancy of the profile as Kristy has extensive couch surfing experience and can't rave about it enough. Check out Gabe-Denver's profile to learn more about our European cs-ing family.
Marea has tested the couch surfing waters and is thrilled to continue. After a cross country road trip through the States, a bicycle tour in Ireland, and an experimental motor bike drive of Bali, she can't wait to hike Machu Picchu and sleep upright on the Latin American nigh buses.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
People are amazing and can surprise you in the best ways. In reflection upon my Europe travels, it is the people that make the experience. The joy of being a traveler vs a tourist (although I enjoy both). I can recount my own experiences to friends, family, and those taking a trip to the same destination but no two experiences are alike. "See this, go there, do that!" But in the end, what made each experience special and meaningful were the people I met. Lippy is Paris, Dario is Napoli, and Gabe is Europe. Even as my extensive travels are of years passed, I've come to realize that people are all around me no matter where I am and I appreciate those that shape and impact my life every step of the way.
