ABOUT ME

American moved back from the Scotland about a year ago. Still trying to get a handle on the whole Houston, Texas, USA thing.

I'm a pretty easy going guy who loves to learn about people and what makes them tick. Fairly well travelled, but still have lots of ground to cover.

In general: I probably won't be the life of the party, but I'll definitely bring beer :-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In general when I travel I don't mind paying for a hotel or hostel, so I probably won't ask for a room. But seeing the world through the lonely planet or guided tours is a pretty hollow experience. Its the people of the world that make it an interesting place not museums and castles.

So in my travels CS has allowed me to meet so many cool people that have opened their worlds to me and turned my "vacations" into experiences.

In turn I try to show the same honesty and hospitality to my guests.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Started 2008 while livnig in Europe, have surfed in Estonia, Germany, and Croatia.

Have also had the pleasure of hosting a few very interesting and fun people.

Interessi

Traveling (obviously), Hiking, skiing, mountain biking, guitar, reading, Ice Hockey (yeah I know that's weird considering I live in Texas), sports in general, and Scotch whisky.
