Don't do TV.

Books do way more for the mood, mind, your ability to understand someone else's world, and teaches you ways to better express the jumbled thoughts that rush around in your head at 2am. Besides, I can put a book in the pack and read it sitting up against a tree trunk feeling the slow heat of the camp fire in the middle of God knows where...try that with HBO. Favorite Authors:Isaac Asimov, James Byron Huggins, Timothy Zahn, Stephen Baxter, John Steinbeck, H.G. Wells. Finding more all the time.

Movies have a finite end with a purpose. They serve their purpose...some of them even make me think in the process.
Movies I would watch again:
V for Vendetta, Shawshank Redemption, Hunt for Red October, Prozac Nation, Lord of War, Last Man Standing

Music...just about everything. Lately: Skillet, Red, Breaking Benjamin, Regina Spektor, and Red Snapper.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Stood on the highest mountain in Maine and ate lunch. Stood on a mountain in Idaho and pondered just how amazingly small I am. Been stuck in a canoe in the middle of a lake watching a gigantic thunderstorm sweep down around a mountain and land right on top of me. Participated in an all day series of airsoft skirmishes on an abandon military anti-missile defense base. Become an 2x uncle in under 2 months and had the privilege to hold them both.
