Originally from West Bloomfield, MI. I graduated from the University in Michigan in 2015 with B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science. While at U of M, I guided backpacking and mountain-biking trips for fellow students. I now live in Flagstaff, AZ where I teach mathematics at the local community college, and in the winters I teach skiing at the Arizona Snowbowl.

As an adventurer myself, I have frequently found myself in unfamiliar places with the sole desire of meeting new people and experiencing a new community. I have frequently received incredible hospitality and kindness from the unlikeliest of strangers, and I want to pay this forward in any way I can!

I love good music. For a long time I was solely a classic rock junkie, but these days I listen to jazz, funk, modern rock, classical, all that good stuff. As long as there is no screaming or autotune involved, we should be fine.

I read a ton and in all different genres, but I am especially partial to sci fi and historical fiction. It's impossible to name a favorite book, but Ender's Game always tends to be in the running.
