I recently moved from Germany to Baltimore where I am working as in a new sales job. I love traveling and meeting new people. Living on the east coast is just the next chapter of exploring after living in 6 time zones over the last 10 years.

I love being outdoors and being active; gardening, running, biking, hiking, hunting, fishing, wild foraging, snowboarding and mountaineering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used couchsurfing to travel yet but my wife and I have hosted some folks back home in Minneapolis and it was a lot of fun to get to know people from around the world. I'm hoping to meet new people through Couchsurfing and while traveling around on the weekends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For my previous engineering job, our team was responsible for designing and testing a new fire extinguisher for the International Space Station. I got a chance to fly aboard the "vomit comet" plane out of Houston that dives over the Gulf of Mexico to simulate zero gravity while people test various experiments inside. It was definitely a career highlight...and I managed to not puke everywhere.
