Tyler Lockett grew up in the exotic land of Houston, Texas before attending art school in New York City where he received his B.A. in Illustration from Parsons School of Design. After backpacking around Mongolia and Thailand, working in Shanghai as a video game artist and teaching English in Kobe, Japan for 3 years, he decided it was time to return to Texas. In his free time you’re likely to find him hiking in the woods, two stepping at honkey tonks, or sketching and writing in one of Austin’s many coffee shops.
