Hi I am Tyler! I grew up in Los Angeles, CA for 18 years before moving to Michigan to attend the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!). I majored in Business with a concentration in Finance and will be employed in Los Angeles starting in August.

I am currently travelling Scandinavia with two friends: Simon and Jordan.

I am visiting Scandinavia for the second time and would like to stay with local people to gather a better understanding of the culture, the language, and of course to get an inside scoop on each host's town.

Interessi

I love to watch sports - all sports. Really. Even football. Actual football. Not American Football.
I also really enjoy hiking and being outdoors. Natural sites are amazing to me.
One of the main reasons I decided to come to Scandinavia is that I'm learning Swedish and would love to learn right in the heart of Sweden.
Lastly, I was very close to minoring in Astronomy at the University of Michigan so I LOVE the stars. Stargazing is one of my favorite hobbies and since there's very little light pollution out in Scandinavia, it should be an amazing place to view the cosmos.

Musica, film e libri

I enjoy all types of music (even country), but am most partial to hip-hop artists such as A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and Kanye West.

My favorite movie of all time is Independence Day. Maybe it's the American in me... Lone Survivor is my second favorite. Definitely the American in me.

My favorite book currently is Eye of Minds. It's a very weird Sci-Fi series that takes an Inception type spin towards the end.

I once started a business with Simon (one of my fellow travelers) when we were 18. We created mobile websites and even sold a few! It was a fairly successful business, but now we've moved on to bigger and better things.

I'm very friendly and generally very tidy.
I'm very good with conversations and can totally tell you all about Michigan (because I'm sure you're super interested!).
I'm willing to help out in the kitchen, or around the house if needed!
I also make a pretty bomb cup of tea...
