About Me

I am somewhat shy when it comes to meeting new people, but I love making new friends and new memories! I became addicted to traveling to new places and experiencing new cultures after visiting Honduras and Guatemala with my family. I am a Business Economics student at Virginia Tech graduating this May.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is an extremely big part of my life! I listen to a lot of different genres, whatever I'm currently listening to probably reflects my mood or the mood I want to be in.

Some genres I listen to a lot include Hip hop/Rap, Indie rock, Psych pop, Synth pop, Freak Folk, Funk/Soul, Classic Rock, Folk, and a little Electronic here and there. Got to love that retro revival! Though I admit I just can't get into country or metal. I also generally avoid angry songs as I very rarely am mad (love Eminem's music but almost never listen to it).

I am a huge fan of Quentin Tarantino's films, Pulp Fiction being my favorite movie of all time! I also dig Wes Anderson movies, Royal Tenenbaums being my favorite work of his.

One of my favorite books is Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, though,I don't read nearly as much as I should. I used to love reading as a kid and was a huge Harry Potter nerd, but over time read less and less due to laziness.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Roasted marshmallows over flowing lava on the Pacaya volcano.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a couple things on guitar and a few phrases in Spanish (if you're a beginner at either). I can possibly introduce you to a new band you like (if our tastes align).
