My name is Tyler Poeti. I studied abroad in the spring of 2016 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was on the trip that I was bitten by the travel bug. I grew up in a relatively small town in western Connecticut, USA.

I am interested in learning about as many cultures as possible, and to listen to other traveler's experiences.

I am a student at Western Connecticut State University, studying to get a B.A. in Spanish, with two minors in Latin American Studies and International Studies.

I am an English teacher at the local Hispanic Center.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an English teacher at the local Multicultural Center in Danbury. I teach English to mostly adults looking to obtain United States citizenship.

I am also a Teaching Assistant at my university in the basic Spanish classes.

I would love to practice my *beginners* Portuguese!
