Overview
About Me
I am a 23 year old medical student studying in the midwest of the United States. It has been my dream to travel the world and I am finally able to take on this adventure with two of my best friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am Couchsurfing to experience what Europe has to offer. I am backpacking across Europe with two of my best buddies before we all have to take on our professional careers. As I will be practicing medicine in the US, I feel it is necessary to be as cultured as possible when treating patients. I believe getting outside of my comfort zone and learning from people all over the world will allow me to grow as a person and physician.
Interests
I am interested in sports, music, the outdoors and anything that is intellectually stimulating. The people I am traveling with are some of the most laid back people I know and as a group we are always up to do anything. I look forward to spontaneous events to occur over the next 6 weeks, and I hope whoever ends up hosting us shares this attitude toward life.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music includes anything EDM, House, Electronic, but also styles such as folk, country or jam bands. I enjoy all types of movies and find few things funnier than someone that can throw out a good movie quote. I enjoy books that really make you alter your typical train of thought. Anything that can give you a different outlook on life I feel is a lot of fun.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done is spend 10 days in the rural mountain regions of Jamaica giving medical attention to the locals.
What I Can Share with Hosts
With my hosts I can share my experiences of the midwest life of the United States. Unlike growing up in very large metropolitan areas, I can give insight to how life is in an area that not many people get to hear about. I enjoy talking with other people and hearing their life stories. Learning from others experiences is invaluable and I want to do as much of this as I can.
