About Me

I'm a 23 year old Canadian hailing from the Pacific coast of British Colombia. I love to travel by immersing myself in a country for a long period of time and getting to know the local culture and people. I enjoy good food, good drink, good conversation, a good book, and all things outdoors. When I'm back home I love spending time with my younger siblings, foraging for food in the forest, and salmon fishing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on couchsurfing because it is a great way to get to know local people and get good tips on places to see. I find that when I travel the most memorable experiences are not the places I see or activities I do, but the local people I meet and I think couchsurfing encourages those kinds of encounters. Not to mention that I only recently graduated university and am trying to save some extra cash.
