I'm a 26 year old dude from born and raised in Kansas. I still call this place home but manage to get out into the world for a month or so each year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always liked to travel by staying with friends rather than bouncing from hotel to hotel, the destination is only half the fun. The best trips are always the ones experienced with the best friends. This looked like an excellent opportunity to make new friends in new places! Now that I'm well enough on my own feet I'd like to be able to share Kansas with anybody who's feet takes them there.

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A small team of students including myself conceptualized, designed, and prototyped an experimental pneumatic system aimed at evaluating the effects of volcanic ash on jet engines (Iceland eruptions anybody!?). This project was brought to completion by NASA in the summer of 2015!

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're a musician I'd love to jam with you! I'm always up for sharing a few of the things I've picked up over the years with anybody eager enough to learn and am just as thrilled to be on the receiving end of such lessons.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to cook meals that are staples in my home of Kansas...chili anyone!?
I'm also really handy with chores and try to bring souvenirs of home whenever and wherever possible.
