About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To be more like Mark Twain
ABOUT ME
I am an American student studying Italian in Firenze until the first week of December.
I am filled with unquenchable wanderlust and I find virtually everything interesting.
"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." ~Mark Twain
PHILOSOPHY
I'll try anything once.
Interests
I am interested in a wide variety of subjects but my hobbies include:
Metalsmithing, Bicycles (repairing, building and riding), Cars (repairing, building and driving), Mathematics, Hiking, Camping, Canoeing/Kayaking, Music, Writing although it is difficult to find time to keep up with it lately.
I am also a devout environmentalist and hope to someday parlay my engineering physics degree into working on the problems of sustainable living. Assuming, that is, that I don't somehow become independently wealthy and find my self suddenly able to travel full-time.
