My name is Tyler Goelz and I'm a 24 year old questioner of all things "norm". I'm also a Front End Web Developer and I focus on the holistic approach to User Experience.

PHILOSOPHY

The Golden Rule and Power of Perception.

If you treat people how you want to be treated, you'll gain the respect of people enough to be treated the same.

If you give situations the benefit of the doubt, they'll probably happen in your favor. Unless your favor is immoral, then refer the the Golden Rule

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I mostly use CS for surfing and hanging out. Unfortunately, I'm unable to host my couch due to living situations.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm rather new to CS so I have yet to surf. I'm looking to do a cross country road trip, so I've been setting up a lot of places to stay and everyone I've met so far has at the utmost respect for the inquiries.

I have had a few of my close friends use it and they've had nothing but great experiences.

I'm not the biggest movie buff, but I enjoy comedies and indy films.

Anything from metal to folk, to jazz, to classical, to (some) hip hop. Just not country.

Teach, Learn, Share

The best way to learn is to teach. If one wants to learn a subject in and out, get in front of a bunch of people and begin to teach it to them. You'll find out quickly what you do and don't know.

If you stop learning, you stop living because learning doesn't stop with academia - it follows you through life.
