Friendly traveler, looking to meetup with other friendly travelers. I have a fairly active Airbnb account, but have heard good things about Couchsurfing and thought I'd give it a try.

I am a VP for an aviation firm in beautiful Bend, Oregon, and love to fly small airplanes, SCUBA Dive, write and practice tai chi.

I am interested in learning about new people, going to concerts, and drinking good beer...I'm from Bend, so am a bit of a beer snob ;)

Intereses

I have a growing collection of poetry books, and am going through a 'Charles Bukowski' phase. I hope to someday make my living as a writer, and want to absorb as many experiences as possible to help enrichen my writing.

I love to meet new people and see new places. I often travel when I need to 'unplug' from the machinations of my daily life, and love to crash for a couple of days with no obligations but to explore, eat, drink, write and engage in good conversation with good people.
