ABOUT ME

I'm a bit of a city girl but I also have a passion for the outdoors. When it comes down to it, I'm really easygoing and enjoy pretty much anything! I'm a very happy person and it takes a lot for me to get angry or upset. I can get along with almost anyone I meet and I will gladly talk to a person without any judgements. I equally enjoy one on one time with a person as I do gabbing with a big group of friends. I love my friends, family, and life in general. There's so many things I want to do but I always look back to the things I have done and think that I've done pretty well with the time I've had. I guess I should stop here to avoid sounding corny but this pretty much sums up the kind of person I am. I don't want to base my life on my credentials but how I view the world and how I've enjoyed the years. Most importantly, I work to live, I don't live to work and it's going pretty well for me so far!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While I now live in Whitby, I regularly head over to Toronto to shop at the boutique stores and to enjoy the night life. I do not have a place to stay but I'll be more than happy to take someone out for drinks or a night of dancing. Even if you're just looking for good places to go, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how much this little girl from the 'burbs knows about good Toronto partying.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Sadly, I have had one bad experience while hosting. I have not let this get me down though! Many of my friends have told me wonderful stories while they were surfing so I know this is an isolated incident. I have also stayed with some CSers myself and they were absolutely wonderful! My good experiences definitely outnumber the bad ones.

Sports, biking, driving, flying, travelling (I guess that's a given), partying, dancing, music, friends, food, wandering, puppies, enjoying life!

Honestly, I have watched so many movies, listened to so many genres, and read so many books that I have enjoyed so much for me to even list in this one little box!...but I guess I could name a few that come to mind (although it should be know that my interests span well beyond the confines of this list)...
Movies: Zombie movies definitely! Post apocalyptic movies, Tarantino/Rodriguez flicks, cheesy horror, extremely offensive comedy
Books: Crichton, Steven King, anything historical
Music: Electro, Dance, Euro, House, Old Skool Rap, Jazz, Classical, Ska, Reggae (Original and Dance Hall), Alternative, Cultural

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Conquering Europe (not literally) on my own for the first time in the summer of '07. I have never really travelled anywhere far before that and I planned the trip on the fly. I made so many friends along the way, had a great time, and learned a lot about myself!
