ABOUT ME

I dred filling in "about you" questionnaires. I'm not sure why. I have a feeling I'm not the only one. I do know, however, that the more I learn about other people, the more I learn about myself. I could fill this box with words until the blinking curses comes to an abrupt halt signaling that I've reached my limit, but in the end, I am the person that others perceive me to be. My only concern: that these perceptions don't match my sense of self. My solution: to live uninhibited.

Interests

My Interests (the abridged version): traveling!, meeting people, talking to stangers (usually in that order),living green, shopping for organic food at food co-ops, eating copious amounts of my favorite granola (again, usually in that order),learning about different cultures, arguing with conservative republicans, biking, learning German, kayaking, reading, debating the existence of God, surfing the internet, questioning societal standards, daydreaming of life as a vagabond, mocking Sarah Palin and other "Tea" aficianados (if you know what I mean), trying to understand why people think and act the way they do...if you can't already tell, I'm a cultural anthropology student. The list goes on, but I probably lost your attention by now!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies? I really only watch documentaries, or movies that have qualities similar to documentaries. Music? This sounds really lame, but I only listen to MPR or NPR when I'm driving in my car. When I'm stopped at a red light and there are cars around me I like to roll down my windows and blare the national news like the true thug I am. Gangsta.
