ABOUT ME

Grew up in wicklow but living up the road in dublin now. Its good fun here but you can't beat the wide open spaces in the countryside. Went to an all irish speaking school since i was 5 but i'm pretty rusty now. studied ag-science in college and now I work for an international company exporting seed around the world. I'm currently based in Brazil for a little while.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

when i traveled europe a bit when i was younger, we had to sleep rough a few times, it was a rotten time! got mugged and somebody tried to kill me....pretty funny story actually. It would have been helpful to crash at somebodys for a while, get things back on the road!

i'll offer a couch whenever i can.I do alot of traveling with work though and i'm not always around.
I also want to meet as many people as i can when i'm traveling with work and see more than just a boring old hotel room in some city!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far i've just hosted a few times, but i'm hoping to do a couple of weeks drifting around somewhere.

Interests

Mountain biking, music, snowboarding, bit of football,Rugby, Climbing, freezing my ass off in the Irish sea and trying to surf, walking around the wicklow hills.

Books: started reading a lot of non fiction recently; history books, books relating to my work etc. I must read more books!

Music; Into all sorts, anything from techno, drum&bass, Electro, Reggae, Old rock and jazz...generally like all music except most of the rubbish they play on the radio. listening to alot of Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, Booka shade, Justice, Daft punk, Iggy Pop, Rolling stones, The Doors, LTJ bukem, GrooveRider, Aphrodite, the National, Neil Young, Creedence, etc....
