Chi sono

CURRENT MISSION

To move for a year to Iberoamerica, learn Spanish and drink fresh squeezed orange juice every day

ABOUT ME

I am inquisitive girl with tousled hair, who loves discovering. It doesnt matter if it is some underground Irish indie band, pretty and forgotten nook in some small town, thoughts and feelings of people who I meet or sickening smell of burned paprika while trying to make a real Hungarian goulash. I simply enjoy the process of discovering.

I diagnosed myself with bipolar soul. I am cheerful, smiling and always up to do something spontaneous. Staying home in the evenings usually makes me the most miserable person in town. I personally know some people who say Im funny! :)
On the other hand, Im definitely an old soul, which makes my life harder, as I start missing people and places way before leaving, instead of enjoying them till the very end. Im being nostalgic and I collect every little trash, which brings some memories. Sometimes the best friend of mine is a glass of wine, shrill voice of some musician with bent heart and a book full of sad, sad poems.

I love walking. Especially through pretty, pretty narrow streets. Wandering around and getting lost is my favorite way to get to know the city.

I like: discovering new bands, Yerba Mate, listening to old people, cold wodka, starry sky, live music, trying local food, tiny&smoky pubs, rain tapping on the Autumn leaves, people, eating with my hands, walking with bare feet, Bieszczady, sharing a beer.

I dont like: spending the whole day at home, overcooked pasta, pessimism, warm wodka, fancy techno clubs, cold chicken soup, discrimination, being alone in the flat, insincere smiles, boredom, all types of longing, melting snow, bad hairsprays, being only an ’Skype aunt’.

PHILOSOPHY

It is always worth to be a human.

Live with all your might and smile to the people, be€˜cause you are not alone.

Musica, film e libri

Music is inseparable part of my life, even though I don’t play any instrument and don’t know notes. I spend hours on creating my playlists and each one of them takes me to particular places and people.
I appreciate and enjoy much more less talented but authentic artists, than those, who don’t show any real emotion while blowing your mind with diapason.
I adore live music, real instruments and good lyrics. And drums. I love drums.
I enjoy singing so much more than person with my voice and musical skills ever should.

Movies? I am so original! not. I could watch The Godfather over and over again. I cannot get enough of watching American Gangster, Good Will Hunting, 500 Days of Summer or Celeste and Jesse Forever. I absolutely adore Al Pacino (obeisance, obeisance, obeisance!) and I could spend the rest of my life on looking at James Dean in Rebel Without a Cause.

I love word. Especially written one. Thats why books of poems of Halina Poswiatowska, Rafal‚ Wojaczek, Agnieszka Osiecka, Wislawa Szymborska or Miron Bialoszewski have a fixed place on my shelf.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

I’m being amazed so often, that its hard to choose just 1 thing. At the same time, I think that I havent done anything huge or amazing. Yet :) Promise to keep you updated!

Insegna, impara, condividi

Learning from people about their culture, country, what do they love/hate and basically about them as human beings and having an opportunity to get to know their point of view is my absolutely favorite lesson.

I don't really think I am good enough to teach anything anyone. Most of things in my life I do instinctively.

However, I can show how to make eatable pasta in 20 mins, Im quite good in speaking my mother tongue and I know how to distinguish PET film from LDPE one with a usage of lighter :)
