About Me
Hi! My name is Ugne -
it means “fire” in Lithuanian, and my friends say it suits my warm personality. I work as an analyst in the field of intellectual property protection, so there’s a lot of Excel in my life 🫠. Beyond Excel, I’m passionate about art, surfing, hiking, and Asian cultures. I studied Chinese and lived there for a year.
Have you ever heard of the Japanese concept of “yūgen”? It’s the feeling you get when something is beautiful in a subtle, hidden, and mysterious way. My aim is to capture those subtle “yūgen” moments in the little things of daily life.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
