ABOUT ME

I'm a very adventurous type of person, love to kayak down big whitewater, climb steep mountains dive with the fish in the oceans. Enjoy meeting new people who can share some knowledge or pearls of wisdom for me to take away and show me things I'm never likely to see by myself. I like to stay relatively fit and healthy and enjoy good food. But there is always time for a party if the time calls for it!

PHILOSOPHY

The eternal search for happiness is a common goal all should share. Can always smile more :) But I think living by a little poem by Rudyard Kipling is very grand.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm a new member and have yet to surf or host, so be gentle with me. I met a surfer and her host whilst diving in the Untied Arab Emirates and thought it was a fantastic idea and we all keep in touch. I've got some holiday time for most of August 2010 and have the crazy idea of driving my way round the west and south coast of turkey. I'd love to meet some new people to show me their country and their favorite spots. I think it will be a fantastic trip, and I'm enjoying planning where to go at the moment.

Love the movies! oldies, classics, comedies, dramas, thrillers, documentaries etc etc however not a horror fan. You can often catch me saying "Best movie ever!" it might have lost its meaning after saying it 100 times oh well. Have an eclectic music taste as well, but lean towards the rock side of life. enjoy the world of books. but have short attention span for books so many are unfinished.

Trekking and climbing through the Himalayas was quite spectacular. Diving with sea turtles was pretty awesome as well.

Although very much a beginner in the kitchen, am willing to share a few of my better dishes to people. I've been rocking climbing for 5 years now so can show someone the ropes. Also I'm a canoe/kayak coach.
