About Me
Hi yooo!
I am a friendly traveller first and foremost! When I was 7, my father made me swear to protect the Nature and be a respectful traveller in a weird ritual where he hits my ass with his huge backpack. But it really started in 2019, when I walked out from my house in Belarus and ended up hitchhiking 4000 km to Armenia and Georgia. And now that my world increased from a small town in Belarus to anywhere where the road leads I want to go on.
Besides traveling, I am a mathematics student. To get some cash coming for my travels I work in some free time: I cook my national dishes in a student cafe, code websites and even model for life drawing. I grew up in a big family with 3 younger siblings and I grew up to share. I have been living in dorms for past 7 years and when I travel I have zero expectations - I am happy to sleep in a hammock or share a roof with someone.
! I took a semester off !
! and January - April 2023 I will be hitchhiking !
! around Malaysia, Cambodia and Vietnam !
! happy to meet you !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would say travel is 20% about places and 80% about people inhabiting them. Just like hitchhiking is only 20% about saving money and 80% about randomly sampled kind drivers that are eager to tell their story and hear mine. And so, Couchsurfing is only 20% about a couch and 80% about you.
I was here actually since I was 11 - my father started hosting people long ago. Couchsurfing gifted me with many (including my first) interactions in English, international communication and understanding. Who knows, maybe this first Dutch guy who once came to visit us opened the world to me?
Couchsurfing is just the Way, it's all.

Music, Movies, and Books
Here we may not match, it's quite obscure.
Music: techno, post-punk, rock.
Movies: some post-modern weird stuff
Books: honestly, I haven't read a book that is not math-related in a while. As a teenager I used to like all kinds of dystopias. I read Marx if you count it as an achievement.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I released an album! It has less than a 1000 listens ahhaha but I really enjoy the process and will be going with more.
Teach, Learn, Share
In Singapore, I leave in a student dormitory and can't offer you more than a roof (haha it's quite packed here). I am happy to cook and/or meet-up for fun. I am open to any learning suggestions!
What I Can Share with Hosts
From fun conversations to serious discussions on social issues, from some Belarusian songs over guitar to a quick guide on music production, from positive experience to positive experience.
