Both, surfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed couches without using the website and I hitchhiked a lot when I was younger. I travelled all sorts of places and always enjoyed unforeseen encounters. In the last months I met several great people via this webiste.

Intereses

I like going for walks and enjoy spending time outside. Cycling is one of the best things. I'm interested in literature, museums and art, yoga, good food (mostly vegetarian) and even better coffee. I love dogs. I like writing and I'm in the middle of learning how to draw and paint.
In a place I don't know I like a good balance of just getting lost and being well-prepared ticking things off my list.

The most impressive things I experienced are mainly nature-related. Such as hiking in South Africa knowing that the nearest people are several miles and several hours of walking away.
