About Me

ABOUT ME

We're a funny easy going couple. We're both polish an we love to travel. Kayo is an active duty F-16 pilot. Whenever Kayo's is off his duty, we're going for a spontaneous road trip. Usually by the end of the money we have some month left, so couchsurfing is a good alternative for sleeping in a car :) We've recently came back from a year long military training in Tucson AZ and we're ready to host some couchsurfers in Gdynia!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Ula went for a gap year to New Zealand and spent a whole year doing everything she was afraid of before. skydive, hitch hike everyday on her way to work, go whenever she want to go, hang out with strangers, do road trips with strangers, experience an earthquake in Queenstown and tsunami on a pacific island. Meanwhile Kayo became an F-16 pilot, which is pretty sick.

Teach, Learn, Share

Whenever we go somewhere, we want to experience this place as much as possible- try a local cuisine and meet people who live there. Without that, the memories of the place fade away quickly. One of our best memories is when we went to Balkans and an almost 100 years old grandma hosted us for a night. The bedroom was nothing like a hotel room- a huge religious painting over our bed was watching us for a whole night! In the morning she brought us freshly picked figs and let us enjoy a view from her balcony. Although we spoke different languages, I felt like a little girl visiting my own grandma. This was so simple, yet so memorable.
