ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, cheerful and easy-going person that likes being active and on the move. I enjoy the outdoors and have a great sense of adventure. Right now, I live in Bonn where I am studying psychology. However, I still have my wanderlust catching up to me regularly. That's why I am kind of re-activiating my CS-profil right now. I want to give interested people the possibility to explore my city apart from backpackers and hostels. Plus, I finally really want to try CS myself (it's never too late ! ;) )

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been travelling quite a bit so far, and found backpackers and hostels most of the time rather boring (especially as a German). Which doesn't mean I am contra backpackers, I think it always depends on what you want and with whom you are with ! ;) I think Couchsurfing is a great way to get to know a country and its people off the beaten track, and that's what I love.

Interests

First of all I enjoy travelling, otherwise I wouldn't have signed up here! I just always enjoyed being abroad. When I was a kid, we spent our summer holidays cruising around Europe in our old VW (mostly France, I have to admit). Maybe my passion for traveling is due to that! In any case, I like meeting people from different countries with different backgrounds, languages and stories. Since I like languages, I always try to speak at least a tiny bit the language of the country I visit.
Additionally, I like doing sports! I am a bit crazy about swimming and I love dancing. Despite of that, I just enjoy moving and being active! I love nature and being outside. Since I live in town, I get the feeling from time to time that I have to break out in order to get some fresh air and a proper breath! :D
Last but not least, I enjoy cooking and socializing. For relaxing, I like reading a good book. Since a few years I re-discovered knitting. I really enjoy it and my goal is to knit myself a pullover this winter break!
