In retrospective I have spent 4,5 years on backpacking and some more years studying on university. At home I am always involved as a volonteer in one or another association for fun and learning. Beside that I have been working, and had up about 30 different occupations in total. I guess that says something about what I like doing. :-)

But I do grow up and now seek the stimulation in a permanant job rather than project work.

In my 33 sqm flat 10 minutes walk from Stockholm Central station, there is room for two mattresses on the floor.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted people in periods more or less on daily basis, and when I have had the time we have done some nice trips outside of Stockholm. Occasionally I try couchsurfing when I am out on something. Hosting is an opportunity for me to be generous.

I am not the person that wants to socialize for hours when you (or me) have just arrived, especially if it´s late. I appreciate a breakfast chat more. I am happy if you do some activities on your own, and whether that is sightseeing, a course or a work conference doesn´t matter to me. You have your reasons for couchsurfing. If I am free and if you like I am happy to join somewhere I have not been. I don´t expect gifts.

The amazing feeling of a meeting with a person who you appreciate from your heart- that is memorable. It has started with a humble and respectful curiosity about the other.
