About Me
THIS THIS NOT A DATING APP, and you will be blocked if you treat it like one, thank you (:
I’m a recent bio grad and I’m currently working for a pharmaceutical project. I live in Budapest and I’m genuinely enjoying my life here, as the city is super vibrant and there’s plenty of stuff to do. I’m a big fan of tea and baklava, notoriously claiming that I bake nice baklava (will share some with you if I have some freshly baked baklava around).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
"I like to be like a turtle. Be home while traveling." - my first CS guest;
“Whatever walls you build in life, do not build a wall around your heart” - my first CS host.
I’ve met a lot of great people here, who have really changed and positively influenced my life.
Interests
Most importantly I have to note that I really love languages. I grew up bilingual (Azeri-Russian), studied Turkish and English at school (my Turkish is rusty because I can’t practice it often), and I am currently learning Spanish.
My interests also include geography, history, philosophy, science, and medicine. I am interested in animal behavior too.
Aside from this, I am a curious person in general so I love to engage in conversations about anything. Not afraid to broaden my horizons, and I love it when people tell me about things I do not know.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big fan of “The Office” and “How I met your mother,” and I enjoy an occasional Tarkovsky movie. I’ve tried to commit to reading literature books, but I’ve somehow always bounced back to reading popular science books, most recent one being “Behave” by R. Sapolsky. I’m a big fan of heavy metal and Azeri jazz, but I also love listening to Australian rock. King Gizzard & the The Lizard Wizard is awesome, I’d recommend giving it a try. Needless to say, I also indulge in some techno every once in a while.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ll write 4 - Seeing Black Sabbath in Cologne; adopting a minimalist lifestyle; reading “Homo Sapiens” by Noah Harari; going vegan.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can baklava together, and I can to try to convince you to travel to Oman and Namibia (I’ve never been to Oman and Namibia myself, tho)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Great stories, my cooking skills, some facts from books I've read/places I've been to, most importantly, a nice and enjoyable yet not annoying company.
