Présentation
À propos de moi
CURRENT MISSION
To broaden my horizons and meet new people, as well as see as much of this planet as I can!
ABOUT ME
I love to relax, hang out, have a good time, try new things (I consider myself a little shy and sheltered, but becoming more interesting all the time). Understanding, random, harmlessly eccentric, intelligent, a little lazy, without religion, without sports; that's all I can think of for now. I guess if you want more you can find out in person. :)
PHILOSOPHY
I live my life to make myself and the world better/safer/stronger/healthier/more fun. And not in that order. I'm still figuring this stuff out, but I'm young so I've got some time to grapple with the big issues later.
Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well, I'm pretty new to all of this, and I'm going to be travelling until June 2011 so it's just surfing for now, but when I get back I'll have my own place and I'd love to help out fellow travellers in my area!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never officially used this program, but when you live hours from the city where all your friends live, you've slept on many a couch for several nights a time. It's fun as long as you don't overstay or overstep your boundaries.
Centres d'intérêt
Obviously I'm interested in travelling generally. I love fantastic architecture old and new, and same for music. I like computers and books and I LOVE to eat lots and lots of whatever is delicious. I'm interested in sailing without having done much of it, and strangely I love to drive. Just cruise, put on my favorite song of the week or whatever and just go somewhere.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres
Love my comedies for movies, but I'll enjoy almost anything I watch. Definitely not a fan of westerns (books, movies, TV shows, music) but that's about all the media I avoid. I love to read sci-fi. I just think the universe as a whole is the best possible stage for a story I guess. Trying to read more classical literature but it seems to take a really long time for me to do so recreationally. I watch discovery channel, crime dramas, and Glee for some reason when I do watch tv. I like to watch TED talks too a lot. I also listen to some random podcasts like The Signal from CBC Radio 2, and one for learning to play the piano.
Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue
It's hard to find amazing things on the prairies short of summer and winter storms (that's why I'm leaving for now) so hold on until I'm back from my travels, then I'll decide.
Enseignez, apprenez, partagez
Hmmm. I don't know what exactly I have to share. I enjoy my random skills. I play piano, I'm decent on a computer, my mom tried to teach me how to make her pie pastry, but I don't think that stuck in my mind lol. I don't know what to say here. I've laid more hardwood flooring than anyone should have to without getting paid, and I spent hours and hours of my teenage years in a tractor on the farm. Learning is actually easy for me, so I may be understating my skills(?) here.
