ABOUT ME

Growing up in the back alleys of Singapore was tough. I was raised by 4 wolves and we started a rock band. Half-way through our world concert, I quit to become a door-to-door piano salesman. It was a very tiring but fulfilling job. I saved up enough money to buy a small straw hut in the middle of Orchard Road. My hobbies include planting fruit trees around stranger's houses and selling batteries to blind children. One of these children introduced me to Couchsurfing. So I quit my day job selling cotton buds to the elderly and pursued Couchsurfing full-time.

PHILOSOPHY

People have an everlasting desire to experience new things. Some people forget this and settled for stability over adventure. They spend a bulk of their resources clinging onto material possessions.

My life purpose is to fight stereotypes.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I know the streets of Singapore like the back of my hand. And by that, I mean i glued a map of Singapore to the back of my hand. And by that, I mean I know my way around little Singapore. I'm a child of the streets. A true native. I know the best spots for sightseeing, dining, shopping, exploring and just plain having fun. I think I'm a qualified host.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

- Non-chalantly walked into a classroom and started introducing myself in front of the English class in Danang, Vietnam.
- Completed my Open Water Diving Course in Bohol, Philippines.
- Completed my Advance Open Water Course in Tioman Islands, Malaysia.
- Hitch hiked my way up Vietnam cities via another traveler's motorbike.
- Rode a motorbike through traffic in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
- Abseiled and jumped off a high cliff into the fresh water in Dalat, Vietnam.
- Visited the famous Angkor Wat temples during the sunrise, in Siem Rep.
- Shaved by head bald and did an Omrah pilgrimage in Mecca and Medina, Saudia Arabia.
- Beachside seafood BBQ with locals in Nha Trang, Vietnam.
- Explored via speedboat, the famous 7km underground Konglor Caves near Tha Khek, Laos.
- Organised a kickass Songkran Party in Bangkok, Thailand with 30+ other CSers from around the world
- Spent the night shivering in the pouring rain alone in the jungles of Temburong, Brunei. Outward Bound Brunei.
- Hitched a free ride on a bus full of local Vietnamese who can't speak english but keep insisting that the destination is correct.
- Skybar with the CS KL Wolves!
- Shuffling in Blue Pajamas and furry slippers at the Pajamas Party that I helped to organise
- Dived at the famous SS Yongala shipwreck in Ayer near Cairns
- Flying next to the pilot at low altitude on a seaplane cruising over the Great Barrier Reef
- Rented a caravan and traversing up and down Eastern Australia
- Diving and snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef
- Explored the caves of Jomblang and seen the Heavenly Light
- Had an amazing experience working in the fields in a foreign country doing my Working Holiday in New Zealand for about 10 months
- The explored the amazing city of Tokyo with all its different types of cultures
- Visited the amazing Hitachi Seaside Park
- Stayed at an amazing Ryokkan with Onsen. Once in a lifetime experience!
- Stayed at a local tribe village along the steeple rice terrace hills
- Took a camel to see the Great Pyramids of Giza
- Driven a car in India (scary experience)
- Attended a friend's wedding in India
