Overview
About Me
Hello from Kiel, where I study biology :) I'm a lover of the light, of rainy days and windy nights, of hiking through the woods, sleeping under the stars and good conversations.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I think back to a journey it's not the crowded places or the tourist attractions I remember, but it's the people I met, the food I tasted, the smells that were new for me and the way these places made me feel - and that's exactly what travelling is in my opinion. And how could you experience a country better than meeting the people who actually live there, who can show you the places you don't find with a tourist guide and who tell you the stories you can't read in the internet? That's why I joined the platform.
Interests
I'm singing in two choirs (classical, gospel), playing the guitar (classical) and a little bit the ukulele. I'm also part of a Bavarian mandolin and guitar orchestra. I like to wander and to unicycle through the woods. I'm interested in arts and photography, astronomy and microbiology, which I plan to study after my apprenticeship.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to music always and everywhere - any kind but charts and heavy metal
favourite bands: Alt J, Bon Iver, Moses Hightower, Chopin, Käptn Peng, Punch Brothers
best book ever written: The Little Prince
I often go to the cinema and I like to watch all kinds of movies, only horror and anime don't really appeal to me
favourite movies: Forrest Gump, Inglorious Bastards, Sing Street, Whiplash, Aristo Cats
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
My best friend and I won the second round of the competition "Jugend Forscht" with our scientific paper about solar eruptions. So we were given the chance of expanding our research work at the "Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research" in Göttingen in a pretty professional way - supported by very capable scientists from all over the world. A strenious but unbelievable great time.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you: playing the guitar, riding a unicycle, speak German or maybe the Bavarian dialect
I'd love to learn: Your mothertongue, new recipies, everything else you can teach me and maybe some boogie woogie steps
What I Can Share with Hosts
my flat, of course, friends, guiding you through Passau, a hike through the Bavarian Woods and a great time
