About Me

I'm an open-minded traveler who loves extreme sports and adventure. I build web services for a living, and in my free time, I enjoy leading tours. Life is simple and full of possibilities. No problem can't be solved. I believe in making the most of life and enjoying every experience it offers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here to create lasting connections with people from all over the world. While I’ve used hostels and Airbnb in the past to feel more like a local, I want Couchsurfing to help me build deeper relationships with people. It’s not just about visiting new places but also about fostering connections that could last a lifetime — whether through visiting each other or staying in touch as we travel.

Interests

I love extreme sports like kitesurfing, snowboarding, and paragliding. I used to do hardcore bicycle touring but have shifted my focus to other activities. Traveling is a huge part of my life, as is reading sci-fi and crime books. I also watch tons of movies and listen to podcasts. I’m passionate about learning and exploring new things — there’s always something new around the corner.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy music from all genres and am always exploring new sounds through Spotify’s Discover Weekly. I mostly read sci-fi and crime novels, and I have a broad taste in movies — I don’t think there’s such a thing as a bad movie. I’m a podcast enthusiast too!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It’s hard to pinpoint just one amazing experience because my life is filled with exciting adventures. I’m fortunate enough to live a life that many can only dream of — and that in itself is something special.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach any extreme sport that I’m into, and I’m always up for spontaneous challenges — like grabbing a baseball bat and hitting golf balls into the sky at the local golf course. One of the greatest aspects of traveling for me is the opportunity to learn from people with different perspectives and experiences. The exchange of ideas and viewpoints is something I truly value.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share knowledge on how to travel easily, and practical tips I’ve learned over the years. I believe everyone is amazing in their own way, and I can share stories and cultural insights about people around the world that contradict common internet perceptions. I offer a collaborative spirit, fun experiences, and good company.
