HOLA! :) My name is Laia, I'm a restless traveler! I just got a Bachelor's Degree on Translation and Interpreting and I've always lived surrounded by music. So I might say that languages and music are my favourite things.
I am a friendly and peaceful person, interested in anything which I can discover from other cultures, always willing to meet new people and to learn something new from them. I'm crazy about diversity in all its shapes, I love talking about anything, and I also love to share experiences with travelers around the world.

I like travelling, and sometimes it can be interesting to soak into the real place by meeting local people, and I think that CS is a great invention. I usually will not accept guests at the moment because I am not currently living on my own, I live with my family. But I'm always happy to meet travelers around me! :)

兴趣

Art, and specially music. I've sung in a choir for many years and thanks to that I have travelled quite a lot around Europe. I also play the violin in the University orchestra, and a bit of piano and guitar in my free time.
I love languages, specially sign languages, and I am fascinated about learning new languages. I am interested in education, and I just started my teaching experience, apart from that, I've been working as a children monitor/animatrice for a while.
I also do love sport (some of them, specially outdoors), photography (although I am far from mastering this art), nature, gardening, science, history, culture, traditions, cooking and travelling!

I love almost all kinds of music, specially classical, jazz, rock, folk, ... I like movies, too many to list them! I grew up reading books, but I need to find more time to read now! Please, recommend me a good book!!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done a pilgrimage in Spain, I played in an orchestra, I have taken part in a Steel Band, I have lived in London, I've done a volunteering program in France, I've seen real Cave paintings, I've travelled to Paris in an improvised trip with two friends... these things are amazing to me. I hope to do even more!!

I like everything that involves music when it comes to sharing, also teaching and learning languages! I can teach you spanish, catalan, and catalan sign language! And food! Who doesn't like eating good food with good company? Personally, I truly believe that food is one of the greatest experiences to share with people
