ABOUT ME

I´m a university student in Iceland but taking a year exchange program in Nanjing University, China. I really enjoy living in China and studying there. I study tourism and Chinese, Mandarin for double bachelor degree, hopefully graduating in 2012.
After I graduated from High School I went traveling all over the USA with my friend and it was amazing trip. We couchsurfed alot and met wonderful people and the trip was overall amazing :)
In Iceland I normally work extra with school and in the summers in Hilton Reykjavík Nordica hotel as a waitress. To save money for traveling that is what I enjoy the most in life!
I love telling people about Iceland and showing them around Reykjavik.
So everybody come to Iceland and specially now when it is a little cheaper because of your currency, compared to last years :D

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been taking part in CS as much as I can since I sign up in 2008. I went traveling in America in 2008 and met soo many amazing people and had so much fun.

Since then I have been hosting people when I´m in Iceland and when my family can host in our house.
I have had really good experince with couchsurfers in Reykjavik but the most amazing thing is that some people that hosted me in America are now my good friends and I have been hosted them on trips to Iceland.

It is fascinating to see how many people open up there homes, country and culture for people from other places. I really like to be a small part of this big community.

Traveling is of course on top of the list of things I enjoy the most. And I really like when I get to know new interesting and nice people and culture. I general I always want to be doing something, having fun, partying and doing new stuff.

I do not watch that much TV og movies, I rather like to use my time to life real live with my friends and family.

I like many kinds of music style but I can recommend for everyone to come to Iceland in next October to go to Iceland Airwaves music festival it is freaking great :D
