There is beauty hidden in many things where people don’t search for it like in the face of old men, or in the random arrangement of everyday objects, or in a particular gesture under a particular light on an ordinary day. I like to capture that beauty or at least acknowledge it.

Travelling is the easiest way to expand the (mark) of vision, the others are reading (travelling with the mind) and meeting new people, things that I do most while travelling. When I’m hosting, travellers bring their travel home, they make me a part of it, they refresh my routine. When I’m being hosted I get the privilege of getting inside the culture of the country rather than observing it superficially as I would if I stayed in a Hotel. It’s priceless.

Paragliding in the Cliffs of Basque Country. The feeling of flying and the lightness of softly gliding in the air filled my heart with enormous joy. I want to repeat it.
Saw the Dalai Lama in Berlin. Sang in an opera with the choir. Being in Russian TV.
