ABOUT ME

Half my life lived in the States, half in Israel. We spent our first three years in Israel living on an agricultural settlement. We then moved to Jerusalem about the time I started teaching at an American School. Loved my work but not my commute and it took me only 20 years to migrate closer to work (Herzliya). Happy to be working with an international community.

PHILOSOPHY

Find a job you love to do and get someone to pay you to do it.
We have responsibility to protect the planet for the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our style has included floors, couches, tents and hammocks as well as beds with cousins, friends and strangers.

Interests

I am interested in sustainable development and globalization. I sing bass-baritone in a chorus as well as in an a capella octet. My wife and I love hiking and spend most of our vacations doing that. I ride a bike to commute as much as I can.
