ABOUT ME

Helloooo, I am Anna. I ADORE giggling - actually I have a really funny laugh! haha I believe that a smile can change other people's day, so my everyday mission is cheering up the people around me :)

I am Light. I think we all are. :)

PHILOSOPHY

"There’s an African American song, 19th century, which is so great. It says:

When it look like the sun
Will not shine anymore
God put a rainbow in the clouds

Imagine! And I’ve had so many rainbows in my clouds. I’ve had a lot of clouds… but I’ve had so many rainbows!

And one of the things I do when I step up on the stage, when I stand up to translate, when I go to teach my classes, when I go to teach a movie, I bring everyone who has ever been kind to me with me.

Black, white, Asians, Spanish-speaking, Native American, gay, straight: everybody – I say: come with me, I’m going on the stage. Come with me, I need you now. Long dead – you see? So I don’t ever feel I’ve had no help. I’ve had rainbows in my clouds.

And the thing to do, it seems to me, is to prepare yourself so that you can be a rainbow in somebody else’s cloud. Somebody who may not look like you, may not call God the same name you call God, if they call God at all - you see? - or may not eat the same dishes prepared the way you do, may not dance your dances, or speak your language…. but be a blessing to somebody. That’s what I think.”

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I think we are the sum of everything we have ever seen or heard. And because of this I am doing my best to surround myself with positive people who I can learn from. And I think couchsurfing is a great way to meet interesting people. I am eager to be in multicultural environment, it boosts my energy. Meeting new people from different countries always makes me realize how beautiful and colorful the world is- but I am even more amazed by the fact, that (as Maya Angelou says) "we are much more alike than unalike".

兴趣

I adore smiling, listening to people's stories, getting lost and swimming in my thoughts, being free and colorful, I love music, I love dancing, traveling, volunteering, surprising people, exploring new things and writing poems. I simply adore my life so I just enjoy every single minute of this journey. :)

I lovelovelove all types of African songs and dances. This is one of my biggest passion. I adore dancing to it from the moment I wake up till bedtime hahaha

I love poetry. Actually, I think life itself is poetry and we are all poets... the aim is though in my opinion is to become the poem.
