About Me

CURRENT MISSION

So I quit my job as a biomechnical engineer in Siwtzerland at the end of last year (2017 that is) to travel South America for a year. Just getting to see as many places as possible.

ABOUT ME

Hmm...tough one. I just love travelling and meeting up with new people. I love nature and the outdoors but I am also a big city kind of guy. A bit of everything I guess.
That was pretty vague I know, just meet me and you will get a pretty good impression of what I mean.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like good music in general, especially guitar music, electronic music ,some Jazz, some oldschool hiphop... Music produced by people that create it solely because they think its awesome. I think almost any genre has its right of existence, with a few exceptions ( I am looking at you, German folks music).

Books that I love: The Alchemist (love what it teaches you about life, one of the few books that I read more than once), Ince Memed (Not well known, go pick up a copy and thank me later!), The China study (opened my eyes to nutrition), Shantaram and Vagabonding (2 Traveler bibles).

Movies: Honestly, I dont watch that many movies any more, only TV series and documentaires. There are too many TV series to mention, so here are a couple that I love for various reasons: Breaking Bad, It's always sunny in Philadelphia, Rick and Morty, Fargo...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I prefer looking towards the amazing things that you are going to do instead of looking back on what you have done so far but since that doen't really answer the question, few of the things I have done that were pretty cool include
Off-Trekking Tasmania for a week
Cycling from Cologne to Nice (took me 15 days)
Surfing the third longest wave in Pavones, Costa Rica
Travelling South America for one year
Seeing Northern Lights in Iceland
Going to Burning Man 2018

Teach, Learn, Share

My current passions are photography (there is always a camera with me, but trust, I am not creepy ;)), so anything related to that I am happy to share my wisdom. You can check out some of my stuff here:
