ABOUT ME

I'm never sure how to answer these questions. :) I'm a translator and an ESL teacher, originally from Slovenia, but I've been living in Spain for the last year and a half (first Badajoz and now Almería). I love meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds, sharing knowledge, experiences and stories. I love a good conversation. I'm energetic and always curious; I love learning in general and I'm always up for trying something new!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All the people I met through this site were absolutely amazing! Couchsurfing is a great community - I've met some really interesting, wonderful, generous people. It's a great way of experiencing a foreign country (or your home town for that matter) and making new friends.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all kinds of music, movies and books - it's great when you discover and like something new and unexpected! But I'm mostly drawn to rock, folk, world music. The same goes for movies, but I really like Mexican cinema, though. Some of my favourite authors: Haruki Murakami, Laurent Gaudé, Frédéric Beigbeder, Khaled Hosseini, Amélie Nothomb, J.M. Coetzee, Paul Auster, Amin Maalouf.
