My life is all about books - professionally, at work - in the town public library - and in personal life - I'm a bookworm and book-lover. I like spending my free time in nature, growing up in a small village in slovenian countryside made me appreciate and respect the Earth, our only home. Afcourse I love travelling, discovering new, brathtaking horizonts, the beauty of our planet ... I can't imagine my life without good books, music, movies and especially family and friends ... and my lovely, crazy dog Gaja :) Uh, and almost forgot - writing - I wrote 2 childrens books, but I also do some writing, especially for literary magazines.

I like meeting people all over the world, learning about different countries, culture etc. I think meeting people from all over the world, different age, different situations, is a way of growing and learning about the world. And maybe, sometimes - simple - just having a good time.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

The hardest part, I could write a novel about it, but let's see ...

My favourite bands/artists are Bon Iver, Fleet Foxes, Sigur Ros, I like folksy-indie bands, I also love world/etno music, love going to music festivals, one of my favourite film music composers is Zbigniew Preisner, I also like artists like Nils Frahm and Max Richter ... (yeah, I have classical music education, for a while I was playing violin) etc. etc.

Movies - Kristof Kieslowskis Three Colours, my favoutire movie is La double vie de Veronique ... I also loooove Terrence Mallick ... Poetical, slow, beautiful movies :)

Books - well that's really a though one - books are my life, my fetish ... it's hard to pick one, but I loved: G. G. Marquez 100 years of solitude, Jefferey Eugenides: Middlesex, Pascal Quignard: Vila Amalia, Haruki Murakami's 1Q84 and his other works. I love reading poetry, one of my favourite poets is Dane Zajc (slovenian). Now I'll stop, because this could be an endless discussion.

I try to do amazing things all the time. But ok, making my dreams, thoughts come true - publised two children's books.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

I can teach - picikng herbs, making natural cosmetics ... cook vegetarian dishes ... speak a beautiful exotic language - slovene ...

... always like to share knowledge about music, books, movies ...

... learn new languages - trying to improve my croatian, starting to learn dutch ...

I am always very interested in ancient folklore and mythologies and like to share / exchange my knowledge about it ...

And, I like gardening, and am eager to learn new skills :)
