Overview
About Me
I currently live in Santa Cruz, California, and have met many amazing travelers and couch surfers who have told me about their journeys which has left me inspired to go on a journey of my own. After living and working in the same place for 5 years, I have decided it's time to shake things up. I crave as many new experiences as I can fit. I am a holistic health professional, and take care of my body as much as I can, and love to help others. I'm at this point in my life where good conversation and meeting new people is very important to me. I love being social and love my alone time too which is why being in nature, or just walking around and exploring is very rejuvenating for me. I love laughing with others and want to live my life being as present and positive as I can. There are so many beautiful things in this life and I want to experience as many of them as I can.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The house I was living accepted many travelers and couch surfers and guests in the last 2 years especially. In this time I've been really inspired from meeting people on a journey. I felt that I was traveling without having to leave my own home! I think Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with others and learn about the surrounding community. So, I would like to experience being a surfer, and contribute positive experiences to others homes.
Interests
Being active is very important to me. Bike riding, hiking, gardening...anything outdoors I am game for. I am a little scared of rock climbing, but I have decided to give it another try if the opportunity arises :) I also learned to blow glass 2 years ago and have been practicing since. I plan to continue when back from my trip, or during if that opportunity comes up as well!
Cooking! I love to cook meals involving fresh veggies, and sharing with others is a big part of the fun.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I learned that there are endless possibilities when one follows their passion. I started blowing glass in 2013 and the next year was sent to a glass blowing school for a summer program to learn new techniques and make art all day and night. One of my first travel experiences I am so very grateful for.
